Discussion Posting Prompt:
This week’s discussion posting is a Book Club Discussion (group discussion). Your initial posting will be a response to either Barbara Kingsolver’s “You Can’t Run Away on Harvest Day” or Blake Hurst’s “The Omnivore’s Delusion: Against the Agri-intellectuals” (250 words). In your response, choose either Kingsolver’s or Hurst’s essay, and focus on one of the following response options: 1) what the text says (its ideas) 2) how it says it (the way it’s written) or 3) where it leads your own thinking (your own personal reaction).
