Write a three to four page essay with 3-4 references in MLA style. The essay should analyze Hemingway’s short story from our course text book “Soldier’s Home” (Biederwell and Wheeler, p. 1270) and compare it to one of Brian Turner’s poems, see here: The essay should analyze key symbols or words in both the poetry and literature, such as crows, Dutch collars, bobbed hair, the porch or habib. It should also also compare and discuss the meaning of these symbols specifically in the poem and short story. The essay should state which specific historic time period and war is reflected in the literature (Iraq War, World War I?) . It should be an MLA style with three pages and three sources. Be sure your essay is in docx or rtf format before submitting it to the assignment drop box.
