Country Analysis SWOT(the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats within the country)Choose any one country in Africa and analyse the country using the SWOT format: what are the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats within the country? The analysis is NOT to be a history lesson, nor a recital of facts about the country today. You are to analyse the country – ask questions such as: what is the present economic, political and demographic position? What are the present and potential major causes of internal conflict?; what is/are the major source(s) of wealth?; etc. There are a number of good preliminary sources for finding out about a country, including the UK’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office’s website, the Economist magazine, and the American CIA World Fact Book. Beyond that, you should research as widely as possible and draw your own conclusions based on the evidence you have gathered and your own analysis. Your analysis should be c. 1000 words.
