Using both Illustrator and Animate and the tools & techniques on Environmental Creation, recreate one of the two given backgrounds. Remember that the images are provided are only references and you do not have to trace them as is. Follow the form, style and aesthetic flow of the elements in the image and create your piece. Eg : use elements such as gradient colors from the “Floating Rocks” image to give the depth to the vines and leaves. You will be graded on overall understanding of layers, aesthetics and usage of the software. Submission Requirements (Upload in Google Drive). 1. Dimension of the output – Full HD 1920 x 1080 2. Create different parts of the environment in Illustrator and Animate, compile the final output in Photoshop and submit the JPEG file. 3. Along with the JPEG, submit all the working files (Illustrator – .ai, Animate – .fla and Photoshop – .psd) Grading Criteria: 1.) Tools & Technique Have you used Path tool in Illustrator and Line tool in Animate to create the elements in the BG? 2.) Layers & Groups How good is your layering and grouping technique in terms of keeping the piece organized? Are you able to convey depth? 3.) Aesthetics Does you piece flow together aesthetically in terms of color, light & shadow? Is the quality of your line work good? Extra: * Always make sure to go to to align and align the image along with the canvas. Set both sides at 100.00 on transform then still align with canvas * You would need to reduse the opacity to 50%. To upload the image as well on photoshop. To upload to Photoshop In Animate go to Bitmap under properties then click edit and reduce opacity. after the opacity is reduce save as JPG and export or send it back to Animate. If it asks you to replace click yes and then the image should appear inanimate with the opacity at 50%. * When tracing the image you can use the pen tool and magnet tool. *Once finished put together in photoshop both of the wrok in Adobe Animate and Addobe Illustrate. *Create border in Animate and the rest in illustrate.
