analyzing a recent monograph on capital punishment chosen from the list below. The paper should provide analysis of the book and its central thesis, and do more than simply summarize its contents. Strong papers will demonstrate critical thinking on the part of the student concerning the text of the book, and offer original ideas about how to understand, apply, or reconsider capital punishment in light of the text.
Papers must be ten (10) pages in length, double-spaced, using 1-inch margins, and 12-point font. Students may use other outside sources, including those covered in the modules, but should focus heavily on the book chosen from the list below.
