Start with the history of the polotical conflict and then bring it to the present day conflict
isreali side vs palestinian side
I would recommend you look at Edward Saids writing on Israel-Palestine relations, from a Palestinian perspective. He has written at least 2 books and multiple articles on the conflict.
You will also want to look at more recent work.
Use both primary sources (newspaper archives for the history of the conflict) and secondary sources (books and articles that claim to explain the conflict).
