Occupational health has come a long way since the time of children working in coal mines or factories and jobs significantly shortening an employee’s life. For this paper, describe the journey for dangerous working conditions in the early 1800s through today. What were the reasons that our nations started addressing this problem? What were the major milestones in this, and what barriers did they face along the way? Once you get to present-day occupational health, using cited sources, identify the existing outstanding gaps. How are these items being addressed? What is the likelihood that these interventions will be successful?
