All students are required to complete a short research paper. This paper will be the students’ response to the questions below. Your response should be well thought out, include examples to help illustrate your points, and include citations from only these media (New York Times, Washington Post, Politico) sources.The Candidate: Bernie SandersWhat were three main issues the candidate emphasized? What were the main groups in their electoral coalitions? How has the candidate criticized Joe Biden? How has the candidate criticized Donald Trump? What was the likelihood of the candidate winning the general election? How has the coronavirus changed the dynamics of the election?Each paper will be worth 100 pts. The paper should include a brief overview of the topic and an academic argument that includes examples, polling data, facts, etc. Lastly, the paper can close with student reactions and opinions on the topic.
