Climate Change and Phenology Data at a high elevation field station, Rocky Mountain Biological Station (RMBL) in Colorado
RMBL is a high elevation field station in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. The station has long term records of first arrival dates/first emergence dates (for hibernating species), as well as snow data (total snowfall, snow melt date, etc.). The available data set goes from 2000-2010. This is updated data from an earlier paper looking at phenological effects up to 2010.
What you can do: explore the data set. Will climate change have an effect on arrival/emergence dates? Run analysis to test your hypotheses. Do you see changes in the arrival data/emergence dates for any species? Which ones?
