2. You may use a maximum of five newspaper articles. You must also use a minimum of three scholarly, peer-reviewed academic journal articles. The combination of the two should not exceed eight. For instance, three journal articles and five newspaper articles or five journal articles and three newspaper articles. Of course, this does not mean that you should go for the maximum. A very good essay can be written with five sources, especially for an assignment this short.

4. Please note that your paper should not have more than 30% of referenced material. Your references should support your unique perspective, not the other way around.
