An often-repeated comment about the Vietnam War is that the U.S. would have won had it not been for the media. Answer this: Why would someone make this argument? (Provide evidence from the online exhibit, please.) Do you believe that the media should bear most of the blame for the American failure in Vietnam? Do you blame President Johnson and/or the military leadership? Do you credit the North Vietnamese? Is your answer a combination of the above? Use evidence to support your argument. Do not forget historical context. Put the Tet Offensive in the wider scope of the entire Vietnam War.
